Hello.

I have made a internet controlled system for both wireless micro tanks and wireless webcam tanks with paintball cannon.

I hope to find some better tanks than vstank and vstank*r because they dont work as good as i need them to.
The tracks slip.

I hope to get some combatdigiQ with rotating turrets if they are not to expensive.

Anybody got any?

I need as many as possible that can drive together in a battle.

i know what you mean. it is interesting.

but please pay attention to:

1. this is not the right place. for micro-tanks use this area.

2. before uploading some *.exe we would like to have some further details. so please show us some pics or descriptions of the project.

you know better than that.

e-bay is often more expensive than need to be,
and i almost never see turret rotator tanks there.

(look at my "someone likes digiQ" thread)

i know, you all think i make a bundle of money on each Q
i import from asia and sell here.
i'm sorry to say that they cost me a bundle to buy too.
if you calculate the efford and time it takes me,
i must be a nonprofit organization or something.
prices on the sellers marked only got higher after the
introduction of Qsteer.

i guess if you want to drive rolls royce,
you will have to pay for it too.
you can also drive a cheaper VS T -rabant

Hi.

When I got my two VSTank*R I did not know that I was to remove a plastic cap over the IR- detector on the turret so when I used them they didnt work.

After visiting there website it say on the front page that it must be remopved before use.....
I love to read manualls and there were not a word of that info as i can recall.
They must be compleately insane.

Whell I will get two of VSTank*R again because nobody here seem to know the price of a CombatdigiQ tank with/without rotating turret.

The problem is that the VSTank I have have very bad tracks that slip and i hope i can fix a solution to that if they slip on VSTank*R to.

Now I know what you talk about.

I just think an activex is somewhat different than a *.exe file.



But I write in the site that peopel can use java instead of activex if they dont like it.

But right now that system is under reprogramming.

Well thanks for telling me what it was all about.

I dont use the latest activex because some funktions dont work in my system with the latest activex update.

what is wrong with activex ?
it's just as good/bad as java if you ask me.

but why are we turning this thread into a software review ?

i think magi has a nice idea, let's hear what he has to say.

after thinking about it, activeX could be worst than java.
(me and my big mouth)

i will volunteer to use the system and see what it does,
i'll run it in a Webbrowser appliance like VMWare, so that should elimminate any danger for my precious computer.
( if there is any, how can i know?)

i'm no wizzkid so it will take some time to work it out i guess.

it is becoming a software thread.

Hi.

You seem to be as terrified of activex as I am.

I will set up my java arena when I get my 2 VSTank*R and one combatdigiQ from epoxy.
But its not my highest priority at the moment but give me a week or two.
My wireless webcam modell system need to get up and running and I just now have only one problem with a wireless wlan dongle.
I can use Wlan bridge but they are 3 times bigger and 3 times more expensive so I must get the machine code to the dongle in chape.

The activex is from a company called www.axis.com and can be confirmed by them if you contact them.

In the mean time you can read some links from forums and about 1000 people have tried my activex system from all over the world.

Hello.

It is now on a Java Applet instead of an ActiveX.

Now the one I have is mostly able to drive back and forward
because it is worn out after testings.

I got the two VSTank*R today and will have them set up to the Internet maybe tonight.

I also get a digiQ in a week or two and that will be set up also but it have not a turning turrent.
