hey guys, I figured you guys might want to see this. it's my mini cooper xmod. it has a custom paint job(fade from dark candy apple red to light), awd, and light kit. i hope you like it!

Looks good, it´s a fine work, but nothing really special. What about the chassis?? It´s a standart one??

Hi,

the car looks great. What's the scale? 1/24?
...and how does it drive??? I can see that the front coils and springs are missing and you used that flimsy clear plastic thingie as front deck..

i guess nothing too special.... took a while to work on tho....the chassis is normal, with stage two motors, and, as you can see, AWD.

i simply put a slot in the front... for the rear, since i didn't want to drill into the roof, i simply glue rods of plastic to the side of the body. this gives pressure to the chassis, and the body stays on that way... if you don't mind, here's a pic with my username in it.. it says rcmod.com on it because I entered it into a contest at rcmod.com.




I bought the body from a local drug store. it is a model body... here's the box it came in.

yeah, it's 1/24 scale(as you can see on the box). it drives fine... I actually dont drive it without front shocks on, but I had removed them(as i was going to put new ones on), but i forgot and so... there were none on lol... as far as the flimsy plastic.... it's not that flimsy. it's the plastic from the AWD, but I covered the whole thing in super glue to try and give it more support!
