yes it works good with little modifications
there is still some slip but it acts like tracion control for my heavy finger.
i still use it on my sinister, the mrcg feels better without it |

Hi mk2kompressor
are you the developer of the car or is the Greysacle Racing MRCG your starting point ?
I found this offer by RC-Keneon:

Hi,
Actually I am the developer of the chassis. I just have not posted here because I do not understand German, and thought the language barrier might be a problem. MK2 is one of the team drivers for Greyscale and his new steering link is copied from another team driver who discovered the modification first.
I have the original prototype, which is now the first production-spec MRCG.

The kits from RC-Kenon are PN-spec and have orange CNC parts, a bit different from the silver car sold by TinyRC (same that I have). Kenon and I are trying to bring the MRCG to Europe, so TRP will probably be stocking PN-spec kits for our European customers. _________________ Brian ---- Greyscale Racing |

Welcome
English is no problem in this forum. We are all geeks and want the latest stuff for our mini-z s .
The Chassis is very nice, but like always there is no single cell solution. _________________ **** www.crc-oberkirch.de *****

There actually is a single cell solution, but so far no effective way to implement it.

However, I do not like the battery clips I have at the moment. They sit too high, and require a lot of modification before they work with the tray I designed. I recently found good battery clips on another product so I will ask the manufacturer if he is willing to tell me where he gets them. There is definitely enough space to use single cells, but until I find good battery clips, a single-cell tray will have to be a do-it-yourself modification. _________________ Brian ---- Greyscale Racing |

One more update:
I have changed home tracks from one with very low grip to one with relatively high grip, so the setup has changed a bit. This should be applicable to those of you who have Regupol or carpet tracks (of course, you need foam tires for Regupol but the suspension should be similar).
Stiffer front and rear springs. I found out that an F1 spring can be put on the rear shock by unscrewing the plastic end off. Works well for preventing on-power understeer.
I usually race with Kyosho Mini-Z bodies, so I use the 2007 Super GT 350Z. On my first day at the new track I set a 7.7-second lap, breaking the previous class record of 7.9 seconds by 0.2. The MRCG is not even fully setup yet so I think I can reach 7.3-7.4 seconds, that will be even faster than the pan cars! _________________ Brian ---- Greyscale Racing |
