swapping the TX/RX2C for a TX/RX5b

Hi there, sorry about the english my german writing is not that good so I hope you understand.

I have one of those stunt twister cars with the TX/RX2c on board and I have a bunch of TX/RX5b chips they carry up to 9 functions.
Question is can I swap the TX/RX2c for the TX/RX5b on the stunt cars pcb's?
I checked the pin layout and it's almost the same except for the 4 function pins.

here are the PDF spec sheets.

TXRX5B

Note the RX5B chip is half the size larger than the RX2c chip used on the stunt cars pcb.
