X-Trek Pro (English Question)

Hi
This is the only forum i have found that has some sort of info on the X-Trek Pro so i hope its ok with an english question.
I´m new to micro cars but know my way around tech stuff.

-Is it possible to do annything about the servo stuttering or better signal?
-Is it possible to get oppgrade parts and such?

Wow, that was a quick answer, thank you.
Do i open the servo or is it just the gears outside of the servo?

I Read that some one had changed some resistors on the PCB, annyone know annything about this?

Yes, you have to open the servo to lube the gears.

Another solution for the stuttering-problem:
- Change the servo-motor (follow the link to find some pics)
Spitfire suggest to change the servomotor to a less powerfull one, e.g. a Microsizers MicroBee 2.2 or 2.6.
Ixarus uses a Penracer motor. This motor has a higher internal resistance. So it might help, if you solder a 10 or 20 Ohm resistor to the original motor.

Problem solved, i greased the gears and put on a new antenna (cat 5 cable) and both cars works great now.
almost no servo stutter and double the recieve range.

If you had taken a closer look at Tor's eMail-adress, you would have noticed that he might be from Norway... So i conclued that his German is even worse than your English. (Correct me, if I'm wrong, Tor)

I’m from Norway, and my German sucks. I have been using translating programs to read these posts , and they don’t work to well.
As you say this is of topic, but thank you for the interest.
