Stunt vehicle Turbo disconnect

Hi there,

I got a bunch of those Micro Stunt vehicles and i want to use the Turbo button to switch an extra function.
I noticed that the Turbo pin is already connected prolly to give the motors full power...I disconnected the pin but the motrs didn't run anymore. Has anyone a clue how to overcome this problem?
