Hier ein paar bilder. Getriebe hat ein extra stufe. Die tanks fahren dann langsamer.

Super ! Bitte gebe uns noch mehr Information. Zuschnitt des neuen Gehäuses und Herkunft der verwendeten Zahnräder wären von Interesse. Auf alle Fälle Klasse gemacht. Läuft das Getriebe auch schön leise ?

Leider ist mein schriftliches Deutsch nicht gut genug dafür aber hier ist der info auf Englisch:

Here are a couple of pix of my custom made gearbox. It consists mainly
of 18/7T gears out of cheap copy tanks and bit cars. The chassis in the
picture is also from a cheap clone tank - did not want to mess with the
VsTanks straight away. The clone is made in a mold that is a knock-off
of the VsTank so the mod is the same.

File away material where the driving wheel axles normally sit. Cut/sand
all protrusions away on the inside of the chassis.

The gearbox is made out of 4 pieces of 1mm fibre glass board and 1mm
music wire for the axles. It is important to get the mesh right so I
drew up the layout in CAD. I can provide a .pdf file if anyone is interested.

Und noch etwas zu der Thema:

As you probably know, the VsTanks are a little on the fast side. Why
the mfg. chose to make it so I don't know?

It is a simple affair to slow them down IF you have some smaller
motor pinions in your junk box. I happened to have one of the "Stunt"
type Bit cars (the ones with spinning front axle) and the motors in
these come with 7 tooth pinions. They fit the pitch of the large
gearwheel in the VsTanks. You need to cut/file a little of the
gearbox frame away to allow the smaller pinions to mesh properly. Add
a shim (folded paper will do) to hold the motor in place, then
reassemble. This reduces the speed of the VsTank and makes it more
controllable.

It should print true to scale but check that the cut out for the motor is 6mm to be sure
